According to shots shared by Android Headlines, the Galaxy M16 5G will be available in three color options: a dark grey-like color, minty green, and a peachy hue. The back surface features a light ray-like pattern, a distinct design choice compared to the micro-grid effect seen on its predecessor.

The camera panel also sports a new look, with the most notable change being the separation between the bottommost sensor and the other two. The rear flash module remains positioned separately next to the camera lenses.
On the front, the Galaxy M16 retains the Infinity-U cutout seen in its predecessor, though the thick chin gives it a more budget-friendly appearance. The sides of the device are flatter, metallic, and modern, with rounded corners. The right side houses the power button and volume rocker, and it’s unclear whether the power button will still double as the fingerprint reader. The left side features the SIM card slot.

The rear flash module remains positioned separately next to the camera lenses. On the front, the device features an Infinity-U cutout, similar to its predecessor, while the thick chin gives it a more budget-friendly appearance. The Samsung Galaxy M16, featuring the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC with 8GB RAM, outperforms the M15 with a more powerful chip and scores of 552 and 1,611 in single-core and multi-core tests, respectively, as per Geekbench listing. The device may ship with Android 14 and share similar specs to the Galaxy A16 5G, possibly indicating a rebrand.
